The ECHO Initiative will address Flint's enviromental factor effects on our health.
"A $4.8 million grant awarded to Michigan State University from the National Institutes of Health will help Michigan’s top three research universities, a leading health care system and a state health agency investigate how exposure to a range of environmental factors in early development influences the health of children and adolescents.
Joining MSU as collaborators on the national Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes, or ECHO, initiative are the University of Michigan, Wayne State University, Henry Ford Health System and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services."
