Tamara Bush

Associate Professor
Department of Mechanical Engineering

Bush's research is focused on whole-body biomechanics. She conducts in vivo experimentation, develops methods, and creates models to illustrate and understand clinically motivated problems connected with human movement and force generation.

She has studied seating mechanics, cervical spine, hand function, and pressure ulcer formation. Bush is particularly interest in researching objective measures to classify dysfunction or severity of disease and how to use these measures to monitor changes after treatment or rehabilitation.
