Dr. Pallav Deka’s research investigates strategies using modern technology and equipment for bringing about positive behavior changes through social engagement, an essential element for bringing about lifestyle/behavioral changes. Even though the beneficial effects of regular exercise is well known, it is a struggle for most people to adhere to recommended exercise guidelines. Deka’s is certified as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) by American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner.
