Jodene Goldenring Fine, assistant professor, Department of Counseling Educational Psychology, and Special Education (CEPSE), received her doctorate from The University of Texas at Austin in School Psychology, following a career in computer software development. She completed a clinical psychology internship at Children’s Hospital of Minneapolis and a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric clinical neuropsychology and neuroimaging at Michigan State University under Margaret Semrud-Clikeman.
She is a licensed psychologist in the State of Michigan. Her current work focuses on the neurobiological barriers to learning, including social perception in children with high functioning autism and nonverbal learning disorder, using neuroimaging and neuropsychological methods. Her area of expertise includes assessment and diagnosis of childhood learning challenges and disorders.
