Bio

Diondra Straiton is a graduate student in the clinical psychology program at Michigan State University. She studies access to care for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) from traditionally underserved backgrounds. She is interested in the dissemination of parent training into community settings for traditionally underserved families of individuals with ASD. Her current work seeks to characterize providers’ use of parent training in community mental health agencies for Medicaid-enrolled families of individuals with ASD so that appropriate interventions can be designed to increase the provision of parent training to that population.
