Brian M. Winn is associate professor of the Department of Telecommunication, Information Studies, and Media. He is also the director of the Games for Entertainment and Learning (GEL) lab where he designs, creates, and researches interactive media design. This includes game design, digital game-based learning, and interactive health communication.
Winn has years of experience designing “meaningful games” that combine play and serious objectives. Winn’s award-winning interactive media work has been presented, exhibited, and experienced around the world.
